Our weeklong trip to Orlando, where we consumed many a Butterbeer and I commanded a shuttle mission.

Another exhausting but awesome Dragon*Con. This year was the best in recent memory, and possibly ever. That's largely in part to the time we got to spend with our friends. And also because we came down on Wednesday for the first time, which was a great decision.

My sister's graduation from the former Randolph-Macon Women's College (now just Randolph-Macon College) in Ashland, Virginia.

Fourth of July downtown on the Mall in Washington, DC. If you haven't had a chance to see the DC fireworks, I recommend it.

Day trip my friend Khourey and I took up to visit friends. We all headed to the National Zoo in Washington, DC, and then had dinner at Malibu Grill Steakhouse in Fairfax, Virginia.

Home of the infamous flatliner wings, in which the restaurant requires you to sign a waiver before eating them. I apparently chickened out in front of my girlfriend at the time. But Khourey took it like a man.
- Birthday DC Trip
One of many trips to Washington, DC that my friend Khourey and I took when we lived in Charlottesville, Virginia. This one happened to be on my birthday, and I believe I had to go anyway to take pictures and notes at the Art Museum for one of my classes at the day. The day ended with a bet for me to eat a whole pack of Listerine Freshstrips. And you have to love my crappy goatee.
